I'm Carmen and I'm a lifestyle portrait photographer specializing in newborn and family photos taken in Pittsburgh. I haven't always been a photographer; for the past 15 years I've held a corporate job. Around 5 years ago I started photography as a side gig, and I recently took an exciting leap to full-time photography.
I never imagined this would be my career, but I've never been happier. After I became a mother, my priorities changed. I experienced a love I'd never known, and when I started getting behind the camera for other families, I was drawn to the opportunity to preserve these incredibly special moments. I can't wait to work with you and have the chance to capture your family.
When I'm not doing photography, you can find me spending time with my 4 & 5 year old daughters, escaping to a hot yoga class, or planning my next out of town adventure with my family.
